Clinton Daniel is a writer, arranger, producer, & instrumentalist who performs funky compositions and smoldering ballads. KISS.FM (one of New York's leading radio stations) chose Clinton to be the first lead singer for their Wake-Up morning program's house band, giving him the opportunity to open for some of the hottest names in music today including Boys II Men, Salt n Pepa, Cece Peniston, Jodeci & D-Train to name just a few.
Clintons smooth voice is capable of extroadinary range. His knowledge of instrumentation is equally diverse. At ease in 48 track studio, Daniel delivers powerful vocal performances on top lush tracks. A prolific writer, Clinton has compiled an impressive catalogue of over 200 original compositions covering a wide range of genres.
Released on Power Play Records, Clinton's 'Relight My Fire' received major clubplay, a (Thumbs-Up) review in Billboard magazine, and was ultimately remixed by Junior Vazquez for the DMD mix album. Dance Beat Records licensed the remix (Relight My Fire) giving Clint international exposure, and landing him a guest spot on several follow-up cd's.
Clinton Daniel wrote, produced and performed his first release on Funk City Records, 'Luv Me For Me'. That release hit the record pool chart on every pool serviced, and reached number 1 on BPM record pool.
'Believe In Yourself' was Clintons follow-up release on Funk City Records. This slammin' house track again, had major DJ pool action, and received mixed show play around the U.S.
From there Clinton went on to release his first full length disc of R&B tunes, entitled 'Life Is too Short' which received rave revies in several magazines and newspapers. National distribution gave Clinton Daniel numerous chart positions on college and commercial radio, including #5 on KZIA, #6 on WQCC, #15 on WHLC, #20 on WCRD - 91.3 FM just to name a few. Since the release of 'Life Is Too Short', Clinton has been added into rotation on 630 stations.
Fast forward to 2007, where we find Clinton Daniel has just released his latest effort entitled 'Dear Ghetto Cinderella', an introspective mix of beautiful ballads &
gritty upbeat tracks. 'Dear Ghetto Cinderella' is an honest look into one man's soul.
